Community Cat Has 7 Different Names

DEMOPOLIS, Alabama – What’s in a name? Apparently, quite a lot according to an area community cat who is called 7 different names by 7 different people in a small Alabama town. The cat - whose names include Robert, Cheddar, Mittens, Chichi, Fluffy, Sniffles, and Antonio Banderas – tries to be appreciative of being greeted but remains skeptical of human contact. “I understand cats on the ‘inside’ like having names, but I really only want food from the humans right now,” said Robert Cheddar Mittens Chichi Fluffy Sniffles Antonio Banderas from under a parked car. He optimistically expressed possible interest in allowing himself to be petted by a smaller human at some point in the future. Local rumors of the cat also being regularly called “Scat” and “Get out of here!” could not be immediately confirmed.
